This yarn was from a gray and cream sweater. It's been unraveled, soaked and dried with a little bit of weight to remove the kinks. I'm getting 10 wraps per inch, putting it somewhere between worsted and DK weight.
There are knots at each color join. That's just how it was knit. The label said 100% wool, but I couldn't felt the joins together. Maybe it's superwash?
I've been crocheting a granny square scarf with this yarn and it works up beautifully. The muted colors really compliment each other.
BONUS 10 YARDS INCLUDED! I've looked this yarn over carefully. There may be a few extra joins in places where I thought the wool was a little weak. I'm adding in 10 extra yards in case I missed a spot.
I'm pretty picky about my wool. I wouldn't offer it for sale if I wouldn't use it myself!
