If you've always wanted a watch dog, this may just be your guy! I'm sure he was part of a pair at one time, but I just have this ONE bookend.
Of course he could just retire from the bookend business all together and either sit in front of or on top of some books (or just about anywhere else).
It is in good vintage condition, but there are some paint marks. They are especially noticeable on the white part just to the left of the dog's head.
It does have some crazing (tiny little cracks on the surface layer). There is also a longer crack on the very bottom, but that is by far the worst crack and of course it isn't noticeable until you turn it upside down.
