These lovely vintage 1960s breakfast plates show people in the Dutch folkloristic costumes they wore back then in certain communities. Nowadays these plates are popular collector's items in the Netherlands. I added some colorful accents that make these plates look fun, modern and happy. The original set consisted of six different plates. I currently have a few different plates from the series available here on etsy (see my other available items for the other ones), as well as some breakfast sets with a cup and saucer in the same design.
The diameter of the plates is 8"/20 cm and despite their age, the plates are in a really good condition.

These plates are fired on a high temperature and are therefore fit for daily use or to put them on a wall as wall art. However, they're really old and best treated gently! I don't recommend putting them in the dishwasher (though it shouldn't be a problem if it happens once ;)): they should be dishwasher-safe, but I can't guarantee the colors remain as vivid as they are now in the long run. So just a bit of hot water and soap will keep them in good shape!
