This box originally contained fine Rothchild cigars from Havana, meticulously rolled by hand and packed lovingly into this wooden box.
This box has stories to tell. Born in Cuba, hand packed and sent seafaring, then to its first owner who likely smoked and shared the contents. Then, who knows?
It can tell you the story of all the places I have lived over the past 15 or so years, and the people who have passed through my home. It can even tell you of the secret treasures it has contained after the cigar smoke was long extinguished.
It is restless and ready to move on; it is ready to hold your treasures and absorb your stories. It is in good condition with just a few dings and scratches, and slightly loosening hinges to add to its charm.
