One double layered muslin pocket has a generous burlap ruffle trimmed with lace and buttons across the top. I added burlap and muslin rosettes, my own crocheted flowers, more lace and lots and lots of old and new buttons. All the trims are hand sewn on and are not glued. I've trimmed the bottom of this pocket with a whimsical burlap ruffle and more buttons. Up at the strap there are half dozen more french style rosettes and a lace ruffle. I love this side of this bag!
On the other side is a muslin lined burlap pocket with a generous muslin ruffle trimmed with buttons. I trimmed this pocket with more lace and muslin rosettes and more of my hand crocheted flowers and trims. I added a ribbon flower, more old and new buttons, more lace ruffles and a twine bow. Across the top are a half dozen more rosettes including one of my crocheted flowers. I love this side of this bag, too!
Both of the outside pockets are 8" wide and 6" deep.
The lined muslin inside pocket is trimmed with burlap and lace and measured 7 1/2" wide by 5 1/2" deep.
This sturdy canvas bag measures 17" wide by 14 1/2" tall with a generous 4" wide bottom and sides. The 18" long straps can be worn on your arm or over your shoulder.
