AFRICAN VIOLETS handspun and hand-dyed falkland wool yarn

This week as I walked to work I noticed, to my shock, a bunch of little violets springing from a crack in the sidewalk. Their little purple faces were such a surprise--although it seems that winter was just here, my town's suddenly covered with green. Mostly deep greens, the little bursts of violet in this yarn reminded me of those flowers. Such a happy surprise!
