SALE 69.00 Stunning Fifties Bombshell Black Velvet Flocked Tulle Cocktail Dress Sheer Top size small to medium

I thought I would pass out when I found this dress! It is from the fifties. The only tag is thick paper, and has style number, order number, and "14". The bodice has a black satin taffeta strapless top with a sweetheart neckline. Over that is a layer of sheer black tulle that is flocked or dotted with black velvet. Deep scoop back has velvet trim that goes all the way around the neckline and back. A small velvet bow and heavy metal zipper finish the back. The skirt is a layer of tulle, then a layer of black satin taffeta, and atop that is a layer of flocked sheer tulle. Waistline is fitted, and skirt is very full. A couple of issues to note. On the inside, under one arm, the black satin has been replaced with brown satin. this is not noticeable on the outside. There is a hole about the size of your pinky fingernail in the front of the skirt. It is very hard to even find in the full skirt. One one cuff, the velvet trim is completely gone. the little velvet bow at the back is a bit loose, but you could use it to trim the cuff. Tiny pinholes in the satin bodice, but not noticeable on the outside. Otherwise, this dress is exquisite, very wearable, and extremely rare!
