This is a very popular design of mine; a simple dragon mask with the dragon figure off to one side. I did something a little different with this mask...it features a burnished copper background.
Each time I make one of these, I like to draw the dragon directly on the mask before I carve it. No transfer is used, so each dragon is unique. This is a totally original piece of wearable art.
I price them very low, though, because I love making them!
The leather is 8oz, high quality tooling grade. I hand-carve the design, hand-shape the mask, & paint it with Liquitex acrylics. The entire mask is sealed with a clear-coat acrylic, & it will come with green organza ties for wearing.
