I enjoy making wooden cremation urns. Wood is so much more personal in that each piece is as unique as your pet. I take great pride when I am asked to create a final resting place for someone's best friend.
This wooden cremation urn is made from a solid piece of birch and features an elegant walnut finial. 4 coats of lacquer will protect this 8” x 5” urn and keep it looking like the piece of art that it is. It has a capacity of 1450ml or approximately 90lbs of pre-cremation weight. I have left the bottom unfinished so that your pets name can be inscribed as you wish. I did not add my name to this piece because I did not think that was appropriate.
