There's a story behind these rings:
After I graduated art school I threw myself into waitressing and working in restaurants. I worked *a lot*. I remember once working 30+ days straight... Eventually I started to get frustrated with how I was spending my time and essentially wasting my degree.... So I made myself a set of rings to wear. They read, 'I am an artist.' and 'Not a waitress!"
Eventually I left the restaurant world far behind and am now full time artist. At that point I gave my rings to another person who was in the same place I was. That person has promised to pass them along when they reach their goal as a full time artist.
Sometimes people ask me to make sets of rings like that for them, and after some thought, I decided to offer these rings as a set in my shop.
The set in the picture has already been sent to an artist in GA. You will be receiving a set made in the same style. You do not need to a be waitress, just fill in the blank with your own current 9-5.
So it could be, "I am an artist" "...not a truck driver!" or "I am an artist" "...not a receptionist!"
The rings are made out of solid sterling silver. Each band is about 4mm tall. I can make them in any size, but recommend that you order about 1/4-1/2 size larger than you normally wear (due to how much space they will take up on your finger.)
These rings are stamped by hand, as such, letter placement will have a whimsical touch. This embodies the charm of a hand stamped piece.
TO ORDER A SET:
Please purchase this listing. At checkout write in the ‘notes to seller box’ the size you would like and the occupation you would like used. One ring will state 'I am an artist' the other ring will have the word 'waitress' replaced with the word of your choice.
For example:
size 6.5, 'I am an artist' '...not a waitress!'
or size 9,'I am an artist' '...not a bartender!'

Don't know your RING SIZE?
There are many sizing methods offered online, however, having your finger sized at a local jewelry store is the most accurate method.
