Original pattern and design, machine appliquéd, machine and hand stitched and quilted using Sulky cotton and polyester thread.
There is a wall pocket across the full width of the quilt for easy hanging and support. This also enables the quilt to lay flat against your wall. The binding is hand turned and hand sewn.
Color coordinated cotton fabric -- Animal Crackers by Hoffman Fabrics -- is used as backing. It’s a robust pattern of rich and tropical fruit with parrots interspersed in the design. The accent border fabric enhances the quilt design and makes it pop.
Tropical leaves are quilted in the background.
