This elegant bridal necklace is called Mystica. It has been tatted in white cotton thread and is part of my Crystal Wedding Collection. I wanted something simple yet effective, so I adapted my Katherine pattern and added Swarovski crystals to the outside.
The white motif is slightly under 1 1/2 inches (36mm) wide by 1 1/2 inches (36mm) long. Eight clear Swarovski bicone crystals surround it. This motif is attached to a sheer organza white ribbon, of approximately 16 inches, by a silver plated split ring. The ribbon is adorned with two groups of Czech clear faceted round glass beads and rhinestone rhondelles on either side of the main motif. The ends are securely attached to silver plated leather crimps. This necklace is fastened using a silver plated bolt ring and a 50mm silver plated extension chain with a tear drop.
The crystals were tatted in as I went rather than being sewn in afterwards.
