The dress has been hemmed with red bias tape (see photo details) for a flash of color every now & then while doing somersaults.
This is a very versatile dress design as it fits for a long time (my daughter has been wearing hers for 7 months now), eventually it can be worn as a top. The dress can be worn on its own but works well when worn layered with pants & tops during cooler weather.
I recommend dresses for when your little one is still a baby or has started to walk as they just get in the way when she is crawling around and pants are best for this stage.
