a lovely, sparkly necklace inspired by bokeh-- the deliciously blurred, softly focused and gently washed out part of a photo that begs the eyes to wonder what was beyond the main subject. bokeh is often the most stunning part of a picture, as lights blur together into glowing shapes and floating orbs. i tried to recreate that feeling in this necklace, which is a combination of channel crystals in soft blues, feminine pinks, dusky ecru and sparkling lavenders.

it is hard to describe the colors that occur as light hits from different angles and the crystals overlap, but they are gorgeous-- just see from the picture. each channel jewel is faceted and catches and reflects light in every direction... just stunningly. i added two light-reflecting jewels as well, one pink and one lavender, to increase the color spectrum.

this necklace captures light amazingly and can even form tiny light sparkles in rainbow colors on your skin... sort of a real-life bokeh :)

on a 16" silver plated chain, to fall delicately below the collarbone.
