After creating a new bag from a lovely vintage linen towel, I found myself with a nice strip of linen leftover...what to do? I took a needle and thread and gathered it into a cute flower, frayed the top edges for that sweetly tattered look, added a cute little soft blue/cream vintage button to the center, embroidered some pretty leaves from a soft bluish green wool felt, and added a pinback. All ready to wear!
The flower measures approx. 2" in diameter and the leaves stick out about another inch.
Isn't this a nice way to use up a vintage scrap?!
