I began with a sketch of my own design, then transfered it to the fabric. I then hand embroidered the details and sewed it all together, both by machine and by hand.
Off-white cotton fabric on the front side with embroidery, chocolate brown cotton fabric for the back. It hangs on a little wooden rod with a coordinating cotton fabric ribbon strip. It measures approximately 4 3/4 inches by 4 1/2 inches not including the hanging ribbon.
