I love coffee so I designed this filter to make a great cup of coffee, easy to use & cut back on trash. I use my filter the same way as a paper filter. After a beautiful sunrise with a fresh cup of coffee (who could ask for more) I discard the grounds into my compost bowl, clean the filter in hot water, dry & reuse. I like to hand wash only. I make the filters out of 100% unbleached cotton & sew french seams to keep seamed edges from interfering with the grounds. The filter turns a coffee brown color after using but has continued to serve up great coffee for my husband & I for over a year. I handmake the filters in Twain Harte, Ca, USA (while drinking my morning cup of coffee).
