This original Christine's Beadworks necklace features two one of a kind art forms. The design began with an original painting by Karyn at Somewhathip. Karyn's delicate miniature jellyfish adorns a recycled bottle cap that was destined for a landfill. This is not a reproduced image, but her actual painting.

I complemented Karyn's artwork with an elaborate beaded bezel that securely hugs the bottle cap. The bezel is embellished with blue zircon Swarovski crystals and Japanese drops. Branch fringe utilizing vintage WWII era glass beads, mimic the tentacles and provide a dramatic punch of color. A double spiral rope strap (embellished with Japanese drops and seed beads in turquoise, copper, and green) terminates with a Czech glass button and loop closure.

This necklace is completely sewn by hand with much care and with great attention to detail. When properly cared for, woven jewelry can last a lifetime and even generations. Please note that this item is shipped USPS Priority, insured, and only actual shipping charges are incurred.
