Since I made this print a few years ago the bridge in the background has closed for good, it had been in existence since 1923 and tied the communities of Portsmouth and Kittery together. We are all sad to see an end of an era and even more sad that the new bridge will not be built and open until at least 2014. The message here is SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS!!!

This print will be offered to you with FREE SHIPPING until the new bridge is built.

This print of Portsmouth NH reminds us to enjoy our lunch breaks, conversations with friends and our favorite hobbies.

This is a hand carved and printed 7 color reduction woodcut on Rives heavy weight paper. The dimensions are 11.25"x15". The oil based Daniel Smith ink and the acid free matte are archival quality and should last a lifetime.

To create this print, one piece of wood was carved several times. After each carving another, a darker, color ink was layered onto the same piece of paper. Once completed the print can never be recreated. A True labor of love

When you purchase this print it comes matted, but not framed.
