Vintage Dog Figurine Made In Japan Scotty Scottie Dog 1930s

This vintage Scotty dog figurine is in good condition. It is ceramic or china that is cold painted orange. This style and coloring was popular in the 1930s and 1940s.

The paint shows paint pops and irregularities that were common on this type of paint over figurines. There is a small chip to the tip of one ear. The light spot on the back looks to be paint. Overall, this pup is a classic with cute form.

The bottom is marked "Made In Japan". The figurine measures 2-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 7/8".
