The heart measures approxiamtely 5cm or 2inch.
The key measures 3cm or 1,2inch.
The heart and the key are pressed with paper porcelain clay in a handmade mould. It's hollow inside.
The key is attached to the heart with a beautiful red silk thread.
They are first bisque fired, finished and then fired again at a higher temperature for increased durability. While the high firing does strengthen the porcelain, the piece should still be handled with care.
Please note that the heart & key that you receive will differ slightly from that shown in the pictures.
All my items are lovingly handmade by me. This means there can be some differences between the pictures and the actual item. I try hard to keep these differences limited but the handmade nature of my items make that all of them are one of a kind. These differences are only slight, and they add to the uniqueness of each heart.
