Here's something you don't see everyday! Two small and colorful Flower Mantises are positioned on a soft pinkish-tan background in a black and ivory matted frame. The background also has flecks of deep red and black.
Flower Mantis are aptly named, as their camoflague is to look like flowers! Each mantis has two pairs of wings, which look flashy when spread. The mantis on the bottom is the lighter-colored male, while the more vivid speciman on the top is the female. They are Creobroter gemmatus from Java. Each speciman is about 1.5 to 2 inches tall, and their frame is approximately 8"x10" and one inch deep. It is double-matted in black and ivory matts, and the outer edge is made from black wood. It comes ready to hang on your wall or stand upright.
Note: You will receive a piece very similar to the pictured item; however, due to the handmade nature of my art, each piece will vary slightly.
