Hand made from reclaimed sterling silver and copper, the Mounds earrings measure approximately 5/8” (1.5cm) in diameter and approximately 1 1/4" (3.2cm) in length from the top curve of the ear wire to the bottom of the mound. Copper sheet is cut, hammered lightly, domed and then set in handmade bezel settings and attached to handmade 20g sterling silver ear wires. Included with these earrings will be rubber stoppers for added security while you are wearing them.
The copper used in this pendant has not been waxed or laquered and will develop a gorgeous patina over time (like a penny). Alternately you can choose to clean the piece and keep it looking like it does today.

Reclaimed sterling silver is processed using silver gathered from various sources other than direct mining.
Unlike mass produced jewellery items, slight imperfections are to be expected on hand made jewellery, adding to the charm and character of the piece.
Ready to ship items are shipped via Canada Post and are mailed the next business day after receiving cleared payment, all other custom orders ship via Canada Post and are mailed on completion of order (usually within 10 days).
