A finalist in the Fine Woodworking 'Cure for the Common Cabinet Contest' built by Scott Stewart. The base joins 32 points in curved and angled space. The case is a perfect golden rectangle (PHI) banded with an intersecting wave pattern of inlaid, steam bent rock maple which mimics the natural figure of the interior drawer fronts. The 16 bookmatched and dovetailed drawers pull out and swivel to reveal the treasures you put inside. Raised and carved dovetailed dentil moulding on the interior adds spice to the design. This is a large cabinet that would hold a large collection.
