I love making beautiful jewelry that means something special to the women who wear it. I put a lot of heart into each piece, but it also means a great deal to me that my work, my art, should contribute to the greater good.
In 2010, $2 from the sale of each piece of humankindness jewelry will be donated to support the school-building efforts in Afghanistan and Pakistan of Greg Mortenson and the Central Asia Institute (CAI). Watch for special pieces marked for a larger donation.

Thanks to our supporters and those of you who have purchased jewelry from humankindness in 2009, I sent a shipment of basic school supplies (pencils, erasers, and pencil sharpeners) as well as some much needed art supplies at the beginning of the school year. For some of the children, it was the first time they ever colored with crayons.
