Kilt pin closure; this fabric is self healing so you can pin through it gently many times without leaving a hole, however it will create a hole after time with heavy pulling and or forcing the pin through bluntly.
the style of this jacket is deconstructive like most of my wardrobe but for a person with a very neat style I have another option which is frog closures.
Frog closures may be requested as an option in either natural or black color
This style has been very popular since it's inception Fall 2008, I'm sure it would find a place at the front of your closet and heart.

After much testing and experimenting we had this wool custom knit in the USA. The yarn is very soft extra fine merino. The fabric is hand boiled, felted and dyed in my home with low impact color fast dye. When the wool is dyed properly the water runs clear putting no extra dye or heavy metals into the water system.
The end result is a lightweight stretchy felted knit wool that one could cuddle up and sleep with offered in an array of colors (last photo)
Dye lots are very small so expect some variance with colors.
