She was dressed so pretty in her mother's clothes. Her hat was floppy brimmed and lace trimmed, she wore those lace gloves with the glass buttons. She set out four places for tea. The water was boiling in the tea pot and she was waiting for her guests. Primly, she straightened out her clothes as she sat at the table. The table began to shake. Not a single soul was with her, and the room was shaking. The plates danced on the table, the sugar cube pyramid she had built tumbled down, and the room shook. Try as she may to tame the table, she just couldn't control it, she had no control.Hers was the first cup to fall, shattered into dozens of pieces. The guests who never came to the party had their places still set, a bit messy, but still set over the crushed sugar on the gingham cloth.
A ridiculously over the top statement necklace, I must admit. I've used three settings from a child's tin tea set. I've added small octagonal chandelier crystals and draped brass and gunmetal chains from the bottom. Decadent, extravagant, ridiculous. I love it! Lobster clasp secures the back.
From the top of the plate setting to the bottom of the cup measures 7.75inches/19.5cms.
Across the three plate settings measures 9inches/22.25cms.
The necklace around measures 25.5inches/64.75cms. This can be lengthened or shortened at your desired length. Just send a convo after checkout and payment is completed.
