This painting is inspired by the book Water For Elephants. (which makes this part of my Talisman series). The main character at some point sells his father pocket watch to help out his friend. It's a symbol of the short time we have and the sacrifices we make for those close to us.
The title comes from a song by Mike Doughty who is my favorite musician. His lyrics are pure poetry. I thought this was a perfect fit for this piece especially since the story is about a depression era circus train.
Edges are painted to match the binding on the book, no need for framing.
The back has a sawtooth hanger, and edges are painted so there is no need for framing. This painting is ready to be hung on your wall, or placed on a shelf.
