Titled ”Forgotten Path” a study by Kim VanDerHoek.
This wild patch of land between suburban housing tracts is beautiful. I think the lack of attention it’s been paid makes it more interesting. Recently, I’ve seen heavy equipment parked next to the eucalyptus tree and soon this lovely spot may be filled with homes.
This was painted on location (en Plein Air). Using an Impressionist style I try to capture the overall feel of the scene. I enjoy using bold brush strokes and vibrant color.
Although I make every effort to capture and display the digital image as accurately as possible some differences in the images may occur due to your monitor settings and my digital camera. Please be aware of this as you view this item.
