A very traditional saw for folks of all ages who love tools and woodworking and are full of imagination for what a "wood saw" can actually do. Made from contrasting woods - very handsome curly maple handle and ash, birch or maple blade.
This vintage-inspired wooden backsaw -is handcrafted with time honored traditional woodworking techniques. The mortise and tenon bridle joinery is hand cut using hand tools and chisels and have been pegged.
Measures approximately 12 inches by 4 inches. All woods are native and sustainably-harvested by a local mill from my area.
A wonderful heirloom gift for tool lovers of all ages.
