This piece was created as a part challenge for myself and as an entry that Liberty of London had put on its blog. It was a challenge for me in that I didn't have an idea what I was going to create, which of my stash of Tana Lawn I was going to use and if I was ever going to get it done in time.
It's entirely natural like each and every single bit of fabric and thread used, which was cotton and linen. I love Liberty Tana Lawn prints I've been using the fabric for years now and I always find it hard to get rid of the smallest of off cuts, and that was pretty much my starting point for this entry.
Every single inch of this mini quilt was hand stitched, and I enjoyed every single minute of it.

It's signed on the back with my first name rather than with my usual label.
It's perfectly sized that it could be framed.
