It has been much forgotten today, but witches once held power over the weather and could direct or control it. But they did not do it without help - in folk magic many herbs were once used to call upon the forces of nature - the powers of wind, rain, lightning, and sun.
This magical herb collection consists of five herbs: Fern leaves and Heather flowers to be burned to draw rain; lighting-struck oak wood to cause a lightning and thunder storm by burning it or placing it where you would like the lightning to strike; Broom to call up the wind; and lastly Lobelia to throw into the wind in order to prevent a storm or to stop one you or another have started and bring back the calm or the sun. Doubles of everything except Broom - 9 packets of botanicals in all.
