my favorite part of this is the lovely, ultra shiny, aqua colored base. this little replica is in very good condition. it has a slight tear in the area by the galapagos which you can see in the picture.
it's hard to figure out the age of this. russia is titled "union of soviet socialist republic," so you know it is of some age. i am guessing it is from the 50s or 60s based on the base. regardless, it is pretty nifty.
the whole bank is 8 1/2" tall, and the base is 4 1/2" across.
