This Cozy Bowl is made from Antique Hand Woven Grain Sack Linen C.1890's. It is strong and sturdy. I washed it in organic laundry cleaner from Whole Foods before sewing. It is interfaced and I have lined it with the same Food Safe Water Proof Nylon I used with my sandwich bags and lunch bags.
The binding around the top is Mangle Cloth, just like some of my sandwich bags. The handles are well sewn through all thicknesses.
The Cozy Bowl measures 8" x 8" at the base and stands 6.5" tall.
I will be making them in smaller sizes and in some different textiles because they are such a hit at our house.
It is washable. Pop it the wash and line dry.
Note: This makes a great addition to bathroom storage too!
