This bisque doll is in wonderful condition with a beautifully painted face, pink head band and original material dress. She has moveable arms and is stamped "Made in Japan”. I would estimate she originated prior to 1930.
Perhaps it’s her side ways look or slightly tattered attire, but of all the bisque dolls I have used so far, this sweet, little child is one of the most charming.
She is attached under the arms to pale pink bezel set connectors, vintage celluloid roses, greeny/blue swarovski crystals, vintage chandelier crsytals and pale pink glass pearls.
The neck measures 44cm (17 ½ inches), with a 2 ½ inch extension chain. The bisque doll measures 9 cm (3.5 inches) in length.
She wears a little matching necklace of her own and is just so delightful. Enjoy!
