The action is smooth and very easy on the knees and hips, the orifice is set at a normal height (no back problems). It's so flexible that it easily manages lace-weight or art yarns. It's very stable and doesn't 'walk' away even on polished floors.
It folds up so small that you can put it under an airplane seat or in your hallway closet - yet it unfolds and sets up in an instant. And it's so sturdy that you can smack it into things (which I constantly do, being the total klutz that I am) and not fear dings, dents, or breakage.
You don't have to mess around with screwdrivers, bands, or varnish, either - the Bee comes to your door ready to flip open and start spinning!
There is a handy canvas travel bag for the Bee - check it out in the separate listing.
