Out of the Woods baskets are made of Basket Reed or also referred to as Splint Reed. I use oak handles and bases along with a few wire handles depending on the design.
Since these are samples of my work, I will make your basket especially for you and would be happy to add accents with your choice of color. Usually I choose from green, brown, dark red, deep gold, and seagrass for my accents.
You may also choose if you want your basket the natural lighter color, or darker. To get the darker color, I dip the basket in a Walnut Stain and how dark it gets is determined by the number of times I dip it. Please specify your choice.
Each basket is unique and no two are exactly alike. My descriptions are more general for that reason.
Size: 7.5 inch round base and 8.5 inches tall.
