Gaia Metallic Lampwork Spacer Beads, Silver Glass, Made to Order, SRA

This set of 8 small handmade lampwork spacer beads are made from a beautiful silver-laded glass from Double Helix called "Gaia." This glass is very popular and famous for its gorgeous blue-green iridescence. The base color is a rich green, with blushes of metallic blue-green on the surface in a range of tones. The shimmer has an abalone-like quality that is very hard to capture on camera and covers most of the surface of the bead, but because it is a sheer effect, you see more of the green base color in the photos. You don't see as much green and the metallic effect looks denser in person.

Dimensions:
* 8 small donut spacers, approx. 7.5mm x 11.5mm
* All were wound on 1/16" mandrels

All my lampwork beads are handmade by me, Lori Bergmann, in my studio in Maple Valley WA. They are immediately annealed in a digitally-controlled kiln for durability and strength, and thoroughly cleaned.

Your item will be carefully packaged in a white gift box and shipped in a padded bubble mailer.
