This peafowl (Pavo muticus) is part of my Animal Kingdom Series. Males, like the colorful bird drawn above, are commonly referred to as peacocks. Peafowl are often used as a symbol of purification as they can eat plants that most animals find poisonous.
Papyrus Peacock is drawn on environmentally friendly cotton paper with ink. Even art supplies can be green! The ink is black, green, and red on white paper. This is not a print. It is an original drawing by me, Jen Ashmen.
