I have a poor memory. Sometimes I keep a grocery list on my Palm, but more often I forget to note down what I need to remember to remember. So here is a pen that stays put on the refrigerator, holding up your grocery list, so that as soon as you notice you’re out of baking soda or vinegar or whatever, you can jot it down while you’re standing right there in the kitchen! However, remembering to take the list shopping is something you’ll have to do for yourself.
Hand-turned out of a blackwood, all coloring is natural. Yes, the whole thing is blackwood, but because a large part of it is the lighter colored sapwood, the streak of black heartwood really stands out! When the pen is twisted closed, the black streak lines up neatly. The wood is finished with a friction finish, but no paints, dyes, or stains were used. The pen unscrews from the strong magnet mount and twists open and closed. The ink refill can be easily replaced when needed, and the tip currently has a protective coating to keep the ink fresh, which can easily be removed when ready for use.
