First of all, what's a wall altar?
A wall altar would be a practical and beautiful piece for anyone, but those living in cramped quarters, with little children or curious (and perhaps crazy) animal friends would get the most benefit. Having small sacred spaces that remind us of the magic and mystery can help us to center, breath more deeply and possibly have more patience or show more kindness. Having them up on the wall, within the line of sight, makes this reminder more obvious and immediate. Examples: Near where you wash dishes or fold laundry, in an office or near your bed. I think they are most helpful when placed near where we engage in mundane tasks.
This piece measures about 7 inches long and 2 1/2 inches deep. The longest dangle is 5 inches and if you were to combine all 7 together you'd have 24 inches of gorgeous beading. The shelf has been painted a dark green and sealed with a glittery topcoat.
