HEAVILY ILLUSTRATED with black and white drawings and photographs. This was then accepted into art courses everywhere, and now when you go to college, they are on the 13th or 14th edition of this same book. This would be considered the "second" or "revised edition".
Very interesting, I wish I had time to read it.
This is revised edition- content of new material such as Egyptan art, Sumererian, Etrucscan art, Russian Medieval Art, Baroque, Persian, Aborginial American, Primitive, etc.
No dust jacket. Wear to cover. Writing inside front pages of previous owners over the years in pen and pencil. Many students had this book. Some notes throughtout book most in pencil.
A neat old version of a modern day marvel.
