Bottom photo on the right is an example of spinning with locks in my Tide Pool Art Yarn.
The dyes used are low-impact acid dyes - the 'acid' in this process is vinegar. This fiber is suitable for scarves, cowls, shawls, wristlets, sweaters, blankets - for anything where a next-to-skin soft bouncy yarn is called for.
merino: 5.5 ozs.
Kid mohair locks etc: 2.25 ozs.
Care: Once spun, garments made from it may be handwashed. (
