This is a handcrafted child-sized Jedi Robe, much more substantial and realistic than those sold in stores. It is a rich, chocolate brown, made of a polyester blend suiting fabric, so it has the feel and drape of a natural fabric with the easy care of a blend. This fabric is supersoft, yet has the weight to drape properly and flow with you when you move. There is a tie string at the neck to keep the robe secure for active play. If you'd prefer Velcro at the neck (safer, but not as secure), please let me know when you order.
This robe has many authentic Jedi touches, including:
--full length, all the way down to the ankles
--No seams on tops of the sleeves or shoulders
--Heavier-weight fabric with the perfect drape and flow
--No belt (Real Jedi don't wear a belt on their robes, only on their tunics underneath)
--oversized hood that can partially obscure the face (important for pretending to be Anakin Skywalker)
--Flared sleeves and hemline that swirl when the youngling is practicing his Jedi moves
The light saber is not included, but they can easily be found at Toys R Us or Target.
Your child's robe will be made to order, so make sure to send the following measurements:
--Around the waist
--Fingertip to fingertip when arms are stretched out to the side (the finished sleeve length will be about an inch shorter than this measurement, so that the sleeves will almost cover the hands)
--Down the back, from Base of neck to tops of shoes. (The finished length will be about one inch longer than this measurement, to leave room for growth).
