(This listing is for the larger of the two gold crosses - it is the one pictured on my neck).
I have to admit that this piece was inspired by Tara Frey,
(author/editor/blogger: http://bellapink.typepad.com/). She asked me if I could make a gold sideways cross similar to the one that Taylor Jacobson wears, (Rachel Zoe Project),
http://www.chicintuition.com/?p=2524, because she couldn't find one anywhere. So... I present to you my handcrafted, copyrighted version.
Handcrafting this horizontal cross was a time consuming, multi-step process, but I'm so happy with the results. Once I forged it and drilled the holes, I applied a brushed, satin finish with professional jewelers tools to one side of the cross. The other side is shiny. (If you want the brushed, satin finish on both sides, look for the listing in my shop).This dainty cross measures 12 x 19mm, and is meant to rest around the hollow of your throat.
The chain, including the cross, is 15 3/4" from end to end. It has a 14K Gold Filled lobster clasp, and a 'Theresa Mink' signature tag attached. If you want the length adjusted please leave a message when you check out.
This necklace is so awesome and unique! Also available in my shop is a shiny Sterling Silver cross, an oxidized Sterling Silver cross, as well as the smaller version in the 4th photo photo, which is the one that Tara Frey wears here:
