I was over the moon when I came across this fabric. It's a vintage Laura Ashley print from 1985 and long out of production. 100% cotton with a soft ivory background and a red and green floral print. The colours are somewhat muted so the overall effect is one of softness. I paired it with coordinating solid red cotton to design this dress.
The fitted bodice is lined with cream cotton. It has red trim at the neckline and three covered buttons on the front. The gathered skirt has matching hand dyed lace trim.
Matching red waist ties can be tied in the back for a custom fit. The back has a concealed zipper.
