Vintage 1920s PIRATE bank in spelter metal

An amazing, unique piece from the 1920s. This children's bank is made out of spelter metal and is very solid and sturdy. It is shaped like a treasure chest and has a pirate head on the front with a wonderful scowl and great colors. There is a skull and cross bones on the back. Top has a slit for money and change. The item does come with a lock and keys, but the front of the bank seems to be missing a piece to actually lock it up (the lid closes, but cannot lock).

In excellent condition. The bank does show some signs of general age (some oxidation, etc) but it is in really great shape. Could be a very cool collectible piece.
