Water is overflowing with life in this contemporary painting. The brush I used to paint the original (sold and now living in Australia) had about four bristles! I wanted to create boggling, intricate details that suggest a microscopic view.

About the Materials and Process:
I have never seen more precise printing than on this paper! It is luscious, museum quality and will last for generations without alteration.
Acid-free specialty papers are hand-fed into the printer to prevent rolling and damage to the paper.
Your print may be handled gently around the edges and will arrive in a protective cello sleeve. Avoid touching the surface of the print or handle with cotton gloves.
Now for a little story:
When I completed Tap Water and excitedly showed my father, he said that is was very pretty and creepy at the same time. I think its the very tiny details that amp up the spooky factor... such as the miniature red dots on pale gray in the lower right hand corner.
I used to love tap water when I lived in Ohio...on the east coast it is not so delicious.
