Turquoise symbolizes earth, happiness, good health, hope, prosperity, and success; it's considered to be a pledge of friendship when given as a gift.
Turquoise is the one of the official birth stones for the month of December as adopted by the American National Association of Jewelers in 1912, and the Planetary stone for Aquarius, Taurus and Sagittarius. (http://www.bernardine.com/gemstones/turquoise.htm)
It's also suggested as an 11th anniversary stone.
The wrist bracelet is 8 inches long altogether and adjustable to fit a wrist between 6.5 and 8 inches (or 16.5cm to 20.3cm). The chains and beads go over the hand 3 inches (7.7cm) from wrist to knuckle and 4 inches (10.16cm) across. Ring chain for the middle finger is 4.5 inches (11cm) around and can fit around the knuckle. A 6inch chain fits around the thumb for extra stability.
Can be combined nicely with other rings and bracelets (not included). Send me a message by clicking "Contact the Shop Owner" below this description if you'd like a small clasp on the finger chain (optional and free addition) to hold onto rings so they don't slip off, or just to make them like part of the handflower. See this picture of an example on my Facebook page: http://on.fb.me/kGDSz9
Or for larger rings I can do a chain version: http://on.fb.me/pCPgPz
The thumb chain can be shortened if needed.
Handflower is reversible and can be worn on either hand.
The connectors are silver-tone metal with antique patina finish. They are half an inch across. Turquoise beads are 3mm.
