I started to sew these when I saw my one-year-old twins begin to run and hide behind my expensive drapes. A TEEPEE was a perfect alternative. It has been a HUGE hit in my home and hopefully yours too. Your child will love having their own little space for quiet time, nap time, play time, tea parties, hideaway, sleepovers, etc. They are also perfect for school classrooms, day care centers, libraries and home child care providers.
This teepee is approximately 59" tall and 58" wide and can fit 2-3 kids inside sitting down. I recommend ages 1-6. (Mom or dad can even play in there too!) It provides hours of adventure and fantasy escape, or in my case "take-mom's-chap-stick-dive-in-there-and-she-may-not-find-us." It is made from high-quality cotton and quickly folds up to be stored in a corner, a closet or under a bed. They are suitable for either indoor or outdoor use - just not recommended to be left outside overnight or in bad weather. Recommended spot clean and dry clean, if needed.
Tent poles shown are 66 1/2" long painted PVC pipe and are not included. Poles and caps need to be purchased separately because they are difficult and expensive to ship. I will include instructions on how to assemble your tent and poles. Poles made of PVC are suggested for extra durability, their light weight and they wont splinter or break like wood. The PVC poles have plastic caps on the top and rubber tips on the bottom. When fully assembled a heavy cord connecting all poles at the top allows for easy set up (this is essential for the teepee to set up properly)- simply spread the poles on the floor and it's ready to go. The trick to a good full set up is keep the wrap cord fairly loose as tightening the wrap cord will not allow the poles to spread at the bottom.
This teepee will be a great addition to any stylish playroom.

Similar teepees sell from $199-$380.00. My teepees are being sold for $150 because everyone deserves to have a fort of their own.

All teepees are placed in a ziplock bag before packaging them for shipping.
♥ TURNAROUND TIME
While many items in the Little Birds Boutique shop are ready to ship on our two designated shipping days other items are made to order. All custom work, pinafores, and teepees are now taking 2-3 weeks and regular orders will go out within 5 business days of cleared payment. Most of my sewing is done during nap time or in the evenings, so if it’s been a rough day it may take a bit longer than that. I ship via USPS First Class mail for items up to 13 oz, after that they go via Priority. Either way, Delivery Confirmation is a must with my shipping and is included in the shipping cost that you pay upon checkout. I will do my best to provide you with a tracking number, although sometimes I do get busy. If you haven't been provided with a tracking number and notice your item has been shipped under your purchase menu, please contact me and I will get you one asap! I ship on Mondays and Fridays. I am taking very limited custom requests. WHY? you ask? Because my head is exploding with new items to sew and my cabinets are bustin' at the seams with fabrics to use. My goal is to have a shop that sells items that are READY-TO-SHIP. Right now I would like to focus on stocking my online shop with items that are available for immediate purchase and shipment. I'm an artist, not a seamstress. The joy of sewing diminishes when I fulfill custom requests. Plus, they just aren't as inspiring for me as an artist. However, it never hurts to ask.
